Pookins Saves Christmas
Pookins was asleep on the sofa when a noise from the chimney woke him. Looking up he saw a rather dirty elf bedraggled and crying.
"I've come to collect James and Tabitha's letters for Santa, but he is ill and unlikely to be able to deliver the presents this year"
Pookins began to hatch a plot, I need a new adventure, he thought.
Setting off with Chris the pet shop parrot and Alfred the allotment spider their quest would take them to the Himalayas, to find a rare plant. From there they take the silk road, round the Taklamakan desert, over the Russian steppes, through Finland to the North Pole.
Meeting witches and giants and a street wise monkey called Jingles, they battle Cza and his dogs, ice dragons and trolls. Will they find the cure and be back in time for Christmas?

Pookins of Beauchamp Road
Imagine being seperated from your family and left in a pet shop to be sold. That's what happened to Pookins a little ginger kitten. One by one his brothers and sisters were sold and he faced a terrifying night in the pet shop alone.
Once the pet shop had closed, he found his first friend, Chris, the pet shop parrot who offered to help him find his way back to James, the little boy who had been looking after him. This is their story and how they made friends along the way.
