My Website Journey

I have been putting off making a website for as long as possible. These days an author needs an internet presence, ideally website and social media. My tech skills are not as good as they need to be so I find myself on another journey!

I am still working through my instagram account carolineselfauthor@instagram

In my previous career as a Practice Manager for a GP surgery, I set up a website using WIX. In those days it was template driven, I guess you could say that was the forerunner of AI. Today, I find that the template and tools are all over the place and worse I don't understand some of the jargon.

My technical abilities were increased when I found Aria, she is lovely, I just let her know what I want and where!

OK I'll come clean, it's my first interaction with AI which has a place in this world for things like making a website. I wouldn't and will not use AI to write my books or illustrate them but for this website Aria was invaluable.

The blogs below this one are all AI driven and edited by me. Enjoy the recipe ones, if you want more go to my Current Books section. "Mrs Miggins, Little Book of Christmas" has all my mother's German Christmas biscuits in.
